CII organizes Medical Camp for Ludhiana Police

CII organised a Medical Camp in collaboration with SPS Hospital for Ludhiana Police
officials. The camp focussed on providing medical treatment for Police Department
who works for 24×7 for industrial sectors as well as local citizenry.
Mr Amit Juneja, Convener, CII City Development Core Group and Director –
Vidhata Group, said, “Being an Industrial town with large migrant population and
financial capital of Punjab, Ludhiana has its own set of challenges and to overcome
those, the Police Department of our city is a key stakeholder. Our objective of
organising today’s camp was primarily to conduct medical examinations, that
covered ECG, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, Dietician & Medical Consultancy to
the Ludhiana Police Officers of Division No.8, Thana Sadar, Investigating Cell,
Women Cell, CAW Cell, ACP-3 and ADCP -3. Besides, we also look forward to
explore the areas where CII and Local Police authorities can work together.”

Mr Deepak Pareek, ADCP – Head Quarters, Ludhiana Police appraised the CII
initiative by saying that today’s camp would help Police to keep up their health,
which generally lacks due to daily duty toward citizenry. This initiative will be
continued in all the Police Stations of Ludhiana. It will also help in creating a new
Ludhiana which will be much safer and smarter in true sense.

Approximately 100 police officers were benefitted through the medical camp.
