Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
The much awaited Annual Sports Day of Childhood Kindergarten, Punjab Mata Nagar was held on Monday , 13th November’ 2017.The fantastic turnout from the parents and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students on their sports day at the Guru Gobind Singh Public School. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the
oath being administered by the teachers.The Principal, Mrs. Ishneet Sharma and Mrs Manjeet Kaur Ma’am , Principal of Guru Gobind Singh Public School also took keen interest in impressive performances of the tiny tots. A few peppy dance numbers were presented by the junior kinder and senior kinder students.
Jogging drill and an energizing exercise drill set the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.
Students competed class-wise in events including sprints, races, obstacle races and lemon and spoon races. Funtime with a hurdle race and a tug- of- war between the teachers and parents added to the enjoyment.
The last event, an AHA! Sports Display, showcased the skills and exercises practiced by our young sports enthusiasts every day.
